Say, you are a successful and influential person in the blogosphere and would like to promote your new blog, here is one easy way to do it. Assuming your blog has thousands of readers, if your new blog also is doing in a related niche, you can easily promote new blog to old readers by merging the feeds of both and serving the same through your old feed.
The above concept would work only if both of them are similar or related niche. If you are going to merge a tech blog with a real estate blog, you are expected to lose your readers which you have earned with long time effort. If you want to merge both RSS feeds, here is how one can achieve it.
There is a free service called FeedMingle which comes to your help to merge both rss feeds. Just add both the feed URLs and merge to a single feed and replace the previous original feed URL in feedburner with this new merged feed. Now you will start noticing both the feeds being served through the same old feed URL and your users will start receiving both the updates as it goes.
