Avast is one of the most popular Antivirus softwares. It has been my favorite since few months and also it has won a lot of awards.

avast professional edition I have been using it since around some 3 months and still don’t know any of the operations or settings in that. You know the reason why I don’t know, its simply I don’t need to. It takes care of my entire system by itself. I don’t need to do something to get it into work. Moreover, none of the latest AV softwares work fine on my 3 year old high configuration (then 😉 ) system. Its only avast which runs without consuming much resources.

If you are not using any AV softwares, its must for you, better try Avast, its free and trustworthy. If you are planning to upgrade Avast to professional edition, this is the right time, before March’09.

You r right man.Avast is one of the best antivirus.thanx for bringing d good news.the best thing about avast is it is light on resources unlike norton and other antivirus.

Never used it but never heard any bad thing about it.
I don’t think anyone really buys a genuine licenses of any of the software (atleast in india) for personal use.
It’s good that they are offering 25% discount but still 75% is ours so, I have started a section called Genuine keys on my blog from where users can obtain free genuine licenses.
I didn’t specify URLs to genuine antivirus post coz you may say feel that I am publicising my blog through your site 😀

I have not tried AVG any time, but AVG and Avast are the ones which stand at first when coming to the best free antivirus softwares.

Avast is very good anti virus, Its Free Edition Avast Home is Popular. Avira is also good.
These two are better than AVG free.
